This has to be the most adventurous trip ever. It is a different world. Most everyone is wearing some sort of uniform. And seens to be spying on each other. But I sure had a great time. I flew into Moscow and spent 3 day touring mostly in the Red Square and Kremlin area. I was there for the May day parade, where other 160 politcal parties demonstrate every year without arrest. Then on to St. Petersburg. A 8 hour train ride. This was the 300th year of there birth by Peter the Great. His palace was so beautiful. In fact the palaces, cathedrals and churchs of Russia are the most beautiful in the world. A lost art. Then back to Moscow for a few more days before heading home.
