Hi Dick,

I have read your book about your life (What The Fleck). You sure poured everything you have into racing and keeping its history alive. I especially loved the white mice to finance racing part of the book. I even got my boys each a book of their own. They really enjoyed it. Hope you make it to Daytona for February race this year, and many years to come.

I'm irmpessed! You've managed the almost impossible.

We went to Hatfield in 1956 and ran in the bomber class(non Ford). i was just a kid and along with some of my buddies worked with two Hudson mechanics to try to win with a couple of 1940 hudsons. Alass we could never get past the time trials and I never saw a win as I joined the Navy in 1957.The guy that won consistantly in that year was Donny Allison in a yellow Plymouth #707 and I always wondered if he was The Donny allison?
