Australia Trip 2000
THIS IS A TRIP I HAVE WANTED TO DO ALL MY LIFE.
The flight was over 21 hours. When we arrived in Australia, It was to late to land in Sydney as the town has quite law for 11pm. Which means that our plane had to devert to Brisbane and that is where we spent the night, then flew to Sydney the next morning and spent the next 4 days there. We then flew to Cairns and the Great Barrier Reef for 3 days. Then we flew to Alice Springs in the great outbacks to see a big red rock and the Amoriginal people. They are like our American Indian's were many years ago. We then flew to the Melbourne, that is where the movie "ON THE BEACH" was made with Gregory Peck in the sixties. Do you remember it? The city was more American then any. We also got to take bus ride on the great Ocean Drive. Then finally to long ride home, But it was all worth it. Australia is a world of its own down under.
